Our highly skilled team of dentists, hygienists and support staff provide the highest quality of dental care to thousands of people across the Northern Beaches and beyond. We have built a reputation as a centre of excellence, but more importantly a place where our patients feel welcome, comfortable and supported.

All of our team complete regular further education and training, meaning our patient care is modern and in line with best practices. All our dentists are members of the Australian Dental Association (ADA) and our hygienists are members of the Dental Hygienists’ Association of Australia (DHAA).

Dr Alistair Graham

Principal Dental Surgeon

Dr. Alistair Graham is an experienced and highly skilled dentist with a passion for General, Cosmetic, and Restorative Dentistry. Whether it’s smile rehabilitation, tooth wear, cosmetic enhancements, complex restorative work, or routine dental care, he is dedicated to helping patients achieve healthy, natural-looking smiles. His gentle approach and attention to detail ensure a comfortable experience for every patient.

As a Digital Smile Design (DSD) Master, Alistair has extensive experience in advanced smile transformations, using technology that allows patients to see their new smile before treatment begins. He is also highly experienced in Implant Dentistry, managing the entire implant process—from planning and surgery to the final restoration—so patients receive seamless, high-quality care in one trusted clinic. He also mentors fellow dentists and lectures in implant dentistry, staying at the forefront of modern techniques.

Originally from the UK, Alistair earned his dental degree from Bristol University before completing postgraduate training at Sydney University, obtaining a Graduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry (Oral Implants). After several years in private practice in London, he moved to Australia in 2004, making the Northern Beaches home and founding Mona Vale Dental in 2009.

With a strong focus on quality care and patient comfort, Alistair ensures every visit is a positive experience. His goal is to help patients feel confident about their smiles in a warm, welcoming environment.

Dr Chase Gatland

Dental Surgeon

Dr Chase Gatland is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care, ensuring every visit is as comfortable and relaxed as possible. With a special interest in cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, and minor oral surgery, he is passionate about helping patients achieve both functional and aesthetic outcomes. He values ongoing education and has completed postgraduate studies in orthodontics, including both fixed braces and clear aligners, to provide the most up-to-date and effective treatment options.

Originally from New Zealand, Chase graduated from the University of Otago before moving to Sydney, where he gained extensive experience in private practice. Outside the clinic, Chase is a competitive rock climber, travelling the world to take part in elite competitions.

Kristin Barry

Dental Hygienist and Oral Health Therapist

Kristin is a highly skilled Dental Hygienist and Oral Health Therapist with a Bachelor of Oral Health from Sydney University. She provides gentle, thorough care for patients of all ages—offering tailored treatments for children and meticulous oral health care for adults.

With a keen eye for detail and a calm, reassuring approach, Kristin makes every visit a positive experience. She takes the time to help patients feel comfortable while delivering high-quality care that supports long-term oral health. Outside the clinic, Kristin is always on the go, keeping up with her three young boys. She understands the juggling of family life and enjoys helping patients find simple, stress-free ways to maintain a healthy smile for life.

Ariel Chee

Dental Hygienist and Oral Health Therapist

Ariel brings a wealth of experience to our Prevention and Maintenance team, with qualifications from the University of Otago and a background in both New Zealand and Australia. As an Oral Health Therapist and Dental Hygienist, she has a special passion for pediatric dentistry, combining her clinical expertise with a gentle, educational approach to help children and families build lifelong healthy habits.

In addition to her work with children, Ariel has a high level of clinical ability in treating adult patients, providing thorough and meticulous care to help maintain optimal oral health. Outside the clinic, she’s a dedicated foodie, always ready with great local recommendations. With Ariel, your smile is in expert hands.

Lisa Clothier

Dental Practice Manager & DSD Concierge

Lisa joined Mona Vale Dental after a successful career in the travel industry and quickly became a vital part of our team. As both our Practice Manager and DSD Concierge, she combines her organisational skills with a warm, welcoming approach, ensuring that every patient feels comfortable and cared for.

With a Certificate III in Dental Assisting, Lisa is always available to help with any questions, guiding you through each step of your smile transformation. Her kind and organised personality will make you feel right at home during your visit to our practice.
