For a lot of Wheeler Heights families, the day runs from a school drop-off past the shops to a loop around Narrabeen Lagoon, and a good dentist needs to fit into that rhythm. Mona Vale Dental has been part of Northern Beaches life since 2009, a privately owned practice where the same familiar faces greet you each visit. From a child’s very first check-up to Mum and Dad’s implants, we look after whole families through every stage, just a short drive up the road.
Your treatment is led by principal dentist Dr Alistair Graham, who brings more than 25 years of experience and a particular focus on cosmetic and implant dentistry. He holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (University of Bristol) and a Graduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry in Oral Implants (University of Sydney), and is a Digital Smile Design Master and educator who trains other dentists in these techniques. As director of the Northern Beaches International Team for Implantology Study Club — a group of dentists he leads to discuss complex cases and advances in modern dentistry, named International Team for Implantology Study Club of the Year 2026 — his work is grounded in current, evidence-based practice.

From Wheeler Heights it is a quick trip of roughly 6 to 8 kilometres, mostly north up Pittwater Road with a run along Veterans Parade to start. For a lot of locals it is barely longer than the drive to the Wheeler Heights shops.
It is an easy appointment to fit around the rest of the day, whether you are coming from a walk around Narrabeen Lagoon, a morning at Jamieson Park or the school pick-up. Our practice sits on Waratah Street in the heart of Mona Vale village, a short stroll from the beach and cafes, so a visit can easily turn into a coffee by the water.
