He holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (University of Bristol) and a Graduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry in Oral Implants (University of Sydney), and is a Digital Smile Design Master and educator who trains other dentists in these techniques. As director of the Northern Beaches International Team for Implantology Study Club — a group of dentists he leads to discuss complex cases and advances in modern dentistry, named International Team for Implantology Study Club of the Year 2026 — his work is grounded in current, evidence-based practice.

From Seaforth it is around 18 kilometres, most often via the Wakehurst Parkway and Mona Vale Road across to the coast. Outside peak times it is a smooth run through the bushland reserves.
