Re-establish function, aesthetics and comfort with expertly-placed implants. High-end titanium systems for long-lasting, natural-looking results.
“Titanium dental implants are one of the most durable and reliable solutions for long-term tooth replacement.”
– Dr Alistair Graham
Replace a missing tooth with a titanium post and custom ceramic crown, designed to match your natural teeth in colour and shape, ideal when you want a seamless, permanent solution.
For more extensive tooth loss, we offer advanced implant techniques (including full-arch replacement) so you can chew confidently, smile freely, and leave dentures behind.
Grafting is required when you don’t have enough bone to support implant placement. We use precise digital 3D imaging and guided techniques to optimise outcomes and minimise recovery time.

At Mona Vale Dental, Dr Alistair Graham handles the entire implant process from beginning to end. He is one of the few dentists on the Northern Beaches who can complete both the surgical placement and the final tooth restoration in the same clinic. This means no referrals and no extra appointments elsewhere.
Dr Graham has advanced training in Implant Dentistry and teaches other dentists in this field. His skill, experience, and gentle approach help ensure your implant treatment is smooth, comfortable, and designed for long-lasting results.
We use implant systems backed by decades of research for reliability and longevity.
From 3D imaging to implant-guided surgery, your treatment is carefully planned to ensure optimal results.
From consultation through healing, we provide support and a calm environment to ease any concerns.
What exactly is a dental implant?
A dental implant is a biocompatible titanium post placed in the jawbone that acts as a natural tooth root. A custom crown (or bridge) is attached, restoring the missing tooth’s appearance and function.
Am I a candidate for implants?
Most healthy adults who have one or more missing teeth and adequate bone are candidates. During your consultation, we’ll evaluate your bone and gum health and talk through your options.
Does implant treatment hurt?
No, the surgical placement is performed under local anaesthetic (and sedation if required). Most patients experience mild discomfort afterwards, which subsides quickly.
How long will the treatment take?
The timeline varies based on case complexity. Typically 3–6 months for full integration, though immediate or same-day options may be possible in select cases.
What kind of maintenance is required?
Implants require the same diligent care as natural teeth: brushing twice daily, flossing, and regular check-ups. With good care, they can last many years.
What if I have limited bone or gum issues?
Bone grafting or sinus lifting may be required. We’ll assess and design a plan to rebuild support so your implant can succeed.
